7-7 for the week again – strugglin ! 60-54 overall.  Some midseason thoughts and playoff predictions:

  • The Patriots are one of the surprises of the season – I was so looking to enjoy a 6-10 season for Mr.Douche.Bag – but he’s a damn good coach I guess.
  • G-men – still ugly at times – still winning.
  • Cowboys & Jags – Really?
  • Titans & Falcons – REALLY?
  • Raiders and 49′ers – really – seriously – really?

College Recap

4-1 week – almost went 5-0, but a respectable 29-21 for the season. Thoughts:

  • Texas vs Tech game was incredible. THE CRAB! Would love to know what the QB had to say to the Texas player when he ran into the end zone to celebrate with the CRAB
  • Purdue game winning TD on a hook and lateral — HELL YEAH!
  • Dooook choking – AWESOME news for my Deacons
  • Florida vs an undefeated ‘Bama team in an SEC final would make for GREAT TV
  • Notre Dame will play on New Year’s Day and get destroyed – they are not a good football team

Get out and vote tomorrow.

NCAA Week 10

25-20 for the season – here we go:

  • Texas over Tech – should be a fun game to watch
  • Florida over Georgia – The SEC is ridiculous – the fact that one of these teams is likely out of BCS running – PLAYOFF system – 2 of the best 8 in the country right here.
  • Cal over Oregon
  • Pitt over Notre Dame
  • Clemson over BC

NFL Week 8

7-7 for the week – some close losses for sure!  Some thoughts:

  • Vernon Davis is an ass – but come on Coach Singletary – that has to be the most contrived post game speech ever.  That shit is not gonna work in the NFL – in high school and college it may work – but these are pro’s who make more money than the coach – simmer down and deal with the issue in house big Mike.
  • Say what you will about the NY Giants and ELI — they just keep winning. (Although the red zone O is pathetic)
  • Tampa was a late TD drive away from causing complete meltdown madness in Dallas. DAMN!
  • What’s the deal with Indy?

College Update

3-2 for the week again -25-20 overall.  Some thoughts:

  • I’m done picking Wake Forest – sure it’s my alumni, which should be the reason i don’t pick them — but more than anything else, we are back to being mediocre.  Just wait till hoops season!
  • Penn St vs Ohio St was fun to watch – but let’s be honest, the Big 10 can’t compete with the elite SEC or Big 12 teams – if Penn St makes the BCS Championship game, they are going to get Ohio Stated!
  • Georgia looked GOOD!
  • I loathe Nick Sabean and hope Alabama takes a L soon
  • UNC will win the ACC twice in the next 4 years – they are a few players away from being NASTY

ARGH – 7-7 for the week. 46-40 for the season. Couple thoughts:

  • Really Dallas? Really?  I loathe the Cowboys, so it’s enjoyable to watch – but really?  Watching TO lose is the best
  • I think Payton Manning pouts more than Eli Manning
  • The AFC and NFC West SUCK. Neither division deserves a playoff spot
  • I bet Mike Martz is thrilled he’ll be working for another NFL coach with no experience

Is this fuc&in guy for real? Let’s review:

  1. You got caught cheating and not just once! Most football fans would agree that this slime ball was in essence stealing and may have done it during his 1st Super Bowl victory
  2. You consistently act like an assbag when discussing injuries playing an annoying game of cloak and dagger with reporters
  3. You ran the score up non stop last year consistently sticking it to opponents when they were already down – meaningless 4th quarter points
  4. You LEFT THE FUCK*IN SUPER BOWL before it ENDED showing literally ZERO class and respect for the game.

I really didn’t think it could get any worse — but then I watched Monday Night Football tonight. Up 34-7 with 4 minutes left, this colossal ass runs a hurry up offense and does with a smug little grin on his face.  I wish Boston sports fans would recognize how classless this individual is. He sets sportsmanship back 100 years!
